… a painting inspired by a nice girl from Thailand, encountered in Paris. A powerful woman born on the year of the Tiger. That’s why James uses orange and black pigments. Thai people believe that colors can influence their destiny for good or bad. It is for this reason that traditionally each day of the week is associated with a color. That makes sense for James who is very talented with the color palette as Art critics say.
