...A lot of space with the journalist. Long colored drips that draw beautiful waterfalls like Iguazù falls on the border of Brazil and Argentina. There is a tropical atmosphere with bright and shimmering colors, red, orange and yellow. A heart seems to beat in this painting full of energy. James plays with the coloured variations of the coulures that appear to dissolve in the background to create depth. Sometimes he uses his fingers to extend the color on the canvas for more subtlety and to obtain pictorial effects.
