A series of 12 small paintings in 2 different small formats on paper. All XS series of the presence painting performance (3P) are made with the still fresh paint of the associated Matrix painting, here PP36 THE GIRL NEXT DOOR ( 200x170cm). On these drawings a large place is made in white to call the model’s skin and porcelain complexion. On these drawings: red ink stains more or less diluted tending towards a controlled pink. Some discreet annotations with very fine lead, transcriptions of the oral exchanges between the painter and the model during the painting session.
