RED SHOES

The painting on paper « RED SHOES » from The HEELS IN THE PARISIAN METRO series pays tribute to women, especially Parisiennes. This series was realised in 2002.

For the background of the painting I used marble powder and pink ink in reference to the make-up of the feminine universe. For the shoes I was so amazed when I discover that the fashion designer @jeanpaulgaultier created in one of his collection shoes that look almost like these of my painting. This painting is associated with the large Parisian painting of the same series.
